وردتني الكثير من الأسئلة عن طريق البريد الإلكتروني عن تعريف العلم الإكتواري وأهميته وكيف يصبح الشخص إكتواري وكنت اتمنى لو وضعت هذه الاسئلة من خلال المنتدى كموضوع مستقل حتى يستفيد منه جميع من يبحث عن معلومات عن هذا العلم

وسوف احاول من خلال هذا الموضوع تسليط الضوء مرة اخرى على العلم واتمنى من الجميع المساهمة باضافة مايملكة من معلومات او استفسارات.

البداية

ماهو تعريف الإكتواري؟

إن الإكتواري هو من يجمع بين النظريات والتطبيقات في علوم الرياضيات والإحصاء والاقتصاد والعلوم المالية لقياس المخاطر المستقبلية وإيجاد الحلول لها.

ماهي صفات الاكتواري؟

يجب على الاكتواري ان يكون متحليا بصفات
المعرفة والمهنية والعمل دائما على تطوير نفسه، ومهنته، وان يواظب على الالتحاق بالدورات التدريبية والمهنية المتعلقة بمجال عملة.

كذلك يجب على الإكتواري أ، يحصل على الشهادة وكذلك العضوية الكاملة لإحدى الجمعيات الإكتوارية وأن يكون مطلعا على القوانين والتشريعات المحلية المتعلقة مهنته، اضافة الى المعايير والتوجهات الاكتوارية



والصفات العامة التي يجب أن يتحلى بها الإكتواري هي:




أن يلتزم بمعايير وقواعد المهنة
أن يقدم خدماته بكل امانة وتجرد وباهتمام ومهارة
ألا يعمل ضد المصلحة العامة ويرفع من سمعة المهنة
يتجنب الدعايات المغشوشة والتدليس
أن يحترم السرية ضد الغير
القيام بالعمل المطلوب عندما تتوفر له الكفاءة فقط
أن يحرص على المعايير والمستويات العلمية المطبقة
أن يطلع ويتشاور مع الاكتواري السابق للمؤسسة

يمكن للإكتواري أن يساهم في نقاط كثيرة ومنها:

السؤال الأهم كيف يمكن ان اصبح اكتواري؟



كبداية لابد للشخص من أن يكون حاصلاً على تخصص له علاقة بالعلم مثلا في الرياضيات او الأحصاء او يمكن الالتحاق بإحدى البرامج التي تمنح خريجها درجة الدبلوم او البكالريوس او الماجستير سواء في نفس التخصص او تخصص ذو علاقة.


أضف إلى ذلك أنه لابد للشخص من التسجيل في إحدى الجمعيات الإكتوارية مثل Institute of Actuaries ([Link nur für registrierte Benutzer sichtbar]) او Faculty of Actuaries ([Link nur für registrierte Benutzer sichtbar]) والتي تختلف من دولة إلى اخرى من حيث الإجراءات والمتطلبات ولكن ليس بالإختلاف الكبير.









طبعاً مطلوب من الشخص خلال هذه الفترة اجتياز عدد من الأختبارات والتي في العادة تحتاج لفترة تصل على 6 سنوات لإجتيازها ( لان الشخص في الغالب لايكون متفرغ والاختبارات تعقد خلال فترات محددة خلال السنة في الغالب خلال شهري ابريل وسبتمبر) وسوف احاول لاحقاً إضافة موضوع عن هذه الإختبارات وطريقة التسجيل وتقديم الإختبارات.

برامج الدبلوم والماجستير من بريطانيا:

هناك ثلاث جامعات متميزة في بريطانيا في تقديم هذا العلم ( بالتأكيد هناك اكثر من جامعة تقدم التخصص ولكن المشهورة منها على حد علمي هي ثلاث) وهي:


جامعة كنت في مدينة كانتربري.


تقدم جامعة كنت درجة الدبلوم والماجستير ومؤخراً فتح المجال لدرجة الدكتوراه، خلال برنامج الدبلوم يحتاج الطالب على الاقل لاجتياز 120 ساعة للحصول على الدرجة مع امكانية دراسة اكثر من ذلك والمجموع الكلي المتوفر للساعات هو 180 ساعة وهي على النحو التالي:

Finance & Financial Reporting CT2

An introduction to corporate finance and the interpretation of company accounts.

PROPHET

The University of Kent has entered into an exclusive arrangement with SunGard, a
global leader in providing software solutions for financial services. SunGard markets
the industry’s leading actuarial software package PROPHET, used by companies
worldwide for profit testing, valuation and model office work. As a result of this
arrangement, an optional Financial Modelling module is available which provides an
introduction to the use and application of this market leading actuarial software
package. This module also introduces students to other financial models and how to
analyse and summarise data, develop a model with an audit trail and develop the
ability to apply the results.

اما خلال برنامج الماجستير

Core Applications Concepts CA1

The aim of this subject is to give students the ability to apply the principles of
investment and investment risk to the selection and management of investments
appropriate to the needs of investors. This subject is covered by two modules in the
course, both of which are compulsory.

Modelling CA2

The aim of this subject is to ensure that the successful candidate understands how to
model data in practice and to maintain an audit trail for information. This subject is
covered by one module in the course, and it is optional.

Communications CA3

The aim of the communications subject is to ensure that successful candidates have
the ability to present fundamental actuarial ideas and arguments to others outside the
profession. This subject is covered by one module in the course, and it is compulsory.

Life Insurance Specialist Technical ST2

The aim of this subject is to give students the ability to apply, in simple situations, the
principles of actuarial planning and control needed for the operation of life insurance
companies. This subject is covered by one module in the course, and it is optional.

General Insurance Specialist Technical ST3


Pensions and Other Benefits Specialist Technical ST4

The aim of this subject is to give students the ability to apply, in simple situations, the
principles of actuarial planning and control needed for the operation of providers of
pensions and other benefits. This subject is covered by one module in the course, and
it is optional.

Finance and Investment Specialist Technical A ST5

The aim of this subject is to give students the ability to apply modern techniques in
financial management to the business of managing assets and financing corporate
entities. This subject is covered by one module in the course, and it is optional.

Finance and Investment Specialist Technical B ST6

The aim of this subject is to give students the ability to value financial derivatives.
This subject is covered by one module in the course, and it is optional.

General Insurance Specialist Technical ST7 and ST8

These two new subjects will replace ST3. The aim of these subjects is to give students
the ability to apply, in simple situations, the principles of actuarial planning and
control needed for the operation of general insurers. This subject is covered by two
modules in the course, and they are optional.

Enterprise Risk Management Specialist Technical ST9

This is a new subject to be launched in 2009-10. The aim of this subject is to give
students the ability to understand and apply modern techniques in risk management.
This subject will be covered by one module in the course, and it will be optional.

Additional PROPHET modules

The University of Kent has entered into an exclusive arrangement with SunGard, a

the industry’s leading actuarial software package PROPHET, used by companies
worldwide for profit testing, valuation and model office work. As a result of this
arrangement, there are two optional financial modelling modules available, giving
students practical experience of working with PROPHET:-


PROPHET 1

This module gives students an introduction on how to use the software package
PROPHET, including setting up a new product, performing profit testing and model
office runs.


PROPHET 2

This module provides further experience on the use and application of PROPHET and
also shows students how to analyse and summarise data used in financial models as
well as develop the ability to apply the results obtained.

طبعاً الميزة هنا هي الحصول على الشهادة العلمية وفي نفس الوقت امكانية اجتياز الاختبارات والحصول على اعفاء من الجمعية وفق شروط معينه من ضمنها حصول الطالب على درجة 60 او اعلى في اختبار الجامعة ومن ثم تقييم اختبار الطالب من خلال الجمعية وخلال السنتين الاخيرة اصبح الموضوع اكثر سهولة حيث ان حصول الطالب على متوسط درجات 60 او اعلى في المتوسط الاجمالي يتيح الفرصة للطالب الحصول على استثناء من جميع المواد التي درسها بعد موافقة الجمعية طبعاً.
يعاب على جامعة كنت هي عدم وجود البحث العلمي في درجة الماجستير خاصة ولكن الجامعة عوضته الان من خلال طرح برنامج الدكتوراه.

بالنسبة لجامعة هريوت وات وجامعة سيتي لندن هي تقريبا تعتمد نفس المواد ولكن الطالب يدرس الدبلوم اولا عند تحقيق درجة النجاح يحصل على الدبلوم مع امكانية تقديم بحث والحصول على درجة الماجستير اما المواد فهي نفس المواد التي تدرس في كنت حيث ان الجميع يستخدم مناهج والكتب الصادرة من الجمعية البريطانية للإكتواريين.
طبعا البرنامجين اسرع من حيث الوقت حيث انه بعد الدبلوم يحتاج الطالب تقريبا لفترة 3 اشهر لتقديم البحث والحصول على درجة الماجستير ولكن يعاب عليهما وليس بالاساس عيبا ولكن تصميم البرنامج يفقد الطالب ميزة الحصول على استثناءات اكثر من الجمعية حيث في الغالب لن يدرس مواد الماجستير

إختبارات الجمعية: ( حديثي عن بريطانيا والدول الاخرى قد تكون مشابهه

نقاط هامة.



قبل أن يحق للطالب الدخول للإختبارات لابد ان يكون عضو في الجمعية والعضويات انواع وسوف نتطرق لها لاحقا.
بالنسبة للإختبارات فإن اغلبها تعقد في شهري ابريل وسبتمبر من كل عام.
لكل طالب الحق في دخول الاختبار مرتين لك مادة بالسعر المخفض وبعد كذا يدفع السعر الأعلى لكل محاولة بغض النظر عن المركز الذي قدم فيه الاختبار.
دخول الإختبارات:

دخول الاختبار يتم خلال فترة التسجيل وهي الفترة التي يحق للطالب التسجيل لدخول الإختبار ويمكن التسجيل اون لاين ودفع الرسوم عن طرق الكريدت كارد عن طريق الرابط

أولا: ST3 اتلغت وبقى مكانها مادتين ST7 & ST8
ثانيا: في ماده جديده ضافوها من سنه او اتنين تقريبا وهي ST9
بالنسبه للمادة اللي اتلغت (تامينات عامه) دي كانت ماده كبيره اوي ودسمه وقسموها على مادتين كبار برضه ودسمين، الأولانيه خاصه بالتسعير والتانية خاصه بحساب الأحتياطي

How to become an actuary


It takes on average between three and six years to qualify as an actuary, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Most actuaries start their training once they graduate, but the information below also applies to people entering from another career.



Step 1 - Take an A-Level or a Higher in maths or an equivalent
You'll definitely need this to become an actuary. But it's worth noting that whatever you eventually decide to do, taking maths will broaden your career options.


Step 2 - Get a good degree
For most actuarial employers, a 2.1 or better is essential. Any subject is acceptable, but employers prefer candidates with numerate degrees such as actuarial science, maths, stats, economics, engineering, chemistry or physics.
Step 3 - Find a trainee position


Join an actuarial firm and develop your skills while you qualify. Your careers adviser can help, and you can download a Directory of actuarial employers ([Link nur für registrierte Benutzer sichtbar]) offering work experience or trainee positions, or visit the actuaries pages of the Inside Careers ([Link nur für registrierte Benutzer sichtbar]) website. There is no age limit for joining the profession. If you're interested in changing from another career or profession, we usually recommend you undertake one or two of our examinations independently, to assess your skills. Your experience in your current career may be valuable to an actuarial firm, and you may wish to contact actuarial employers directly to discuss your potential.


Step 4 - Register as an actuarial student and gain your qualifications
To become an Associate or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries you must pass our examinations, or be granted exemption from them, and also attain a satisfactory level of work-based skills. This usually takes between three and six years. The exams cover topics such as statistical modelling, economics and financial actuarial maths. You study by distance learning, and many employers offer support for study, some offering paid study leave during your training. Step 5 - Enjoy a job anywhere in the world


Within the actuarial profession there are many different and exciting career paths, and once you're qualified, your skills can take you anywhere. Some actuaries specialise in technical research, while others may focus more on commercial activities. Most go on to be practising specialists in one of the traditional financial fields, with many becoming senior managers in insurance companies or firms of consultants.
